We recommend the following to assist you in building a productive relationship
with your Staffing Consultant:
- Answer all the Consultant’s questions honestly. Level with your Consultant. We
are trained to sort out your sales features and will present you in the best possible
light.
-
Be realistic about salary expectations. We know the market. We want to assist you in obtaining a salary commensurate with your skills and experience.
- Don’t mistake
quantity of interviews for quality. One of the reasons you use a staffing service is to save time. We won’t let you
interview for jobs for which you’re not qualified or interested.
- Listen to your Consultant’s advice. We know our client companies. When we
coach you on client culture, personalities, dress codes and idiosyncrasies, believe us.
-
Call your Consultant immediately after every interview. Many misunderstandings
have been clarified by timely feedback.
-
Remember, “flexibility” is the key. Tunnel-vision can block you from alternative
career opportunities suggested by your Consultant.
-
Be patient. Consultants cannot create positions. The “right” position for you may
not exist today, or even tomorrow. But you’re not forgotten because you don’t hear
from us every day. When the “right” opportunity emerges, be assured we will call
you. Though all fees are assumed by the hiring companies, we don’t earn a dime
unless we place. Therefore, be assured this is our goal.
- Keep your Consultant informed where you’ve interviewed or sent your resume.
We don’t want to pursue companies that you have already contacted.
-
Communicate with your Consultant. Our goal is to find you the right
opportunity, quickly and as conveniently as possible.
